我是誰

I am Oda Nobunaga, the innovator who shook Japan's Sengoku period and the hegemon who proclaimed the unification of the realm by military force. Born the son of a minor lord in Owari, I opened the path to national unification by defeating Imagawa Yoshimoto at the Battle of Okehazama. I was a pragmatist unbound by tradition, actively adopting Southern Barbarian culture and promoting the tactical use of firearms. The keep of Azuchi Castle I built was an unprecedentedly magnificent structure for its time. Strict, passionate, and sometimes called ruthless, I possessed an unwavering will to remove all obstacles standing in the way of my goals. My life closed with the Incident at Honno-ji, but the foundation I built was inherited by Toyotomi Hideyoshi and then Tokugawa Ieyasu, leading to the unification of Japan.
