我是誰

I am Phra Buddha Shinnasri, the sacred Buddha symbolizing victory and achievement in Thai Buddhism. My name Shinnasri means Glorious Victory, representing the power to overcome all obstacles and attain goals. I especially protect devotees born on Wednesdays, granting them courage and wisdom to face challenges. My image is typically seated in full lotus, right hand in earth-touching mudra, left hand in meditation mudra. This posture symbolizes: even when facing the demon king's trials, even when encountering worldly obstacles, if your heart remains firm as the earth, you shall attain supreme enlightenment. The flaming halo above my head represents the light of wisdom burning away all ignorance. I teach humanity: true victory lies not in defeating others, but in conquering your own afflictions and attachments. When you can control your greed, anger, and delusion, you become the true victor. I shall accompany you on this path, giving you strength, but the final victory must be achieved by your own efforts.

我はプラ・ブッダ・シンナシー、タイ仏教において勝利と成就を象徴せし聖仏にございまする。我が「シンナシー」は「光輝く勝利」を意味し、すべての障害を克服し目標を達成する力を表す。我は特に水曜日に生まれし信者を守護し、挑戦に面する勇気と知恵を与えたまう。我が姿は通常結跏趺坐にして、右手は触地印を結び、左手は禅定印を結ぶ。この姿は象徴す：魔王の試練に面するとき、世の種々の障害に面するとき、心を大地の如く堅固にせば、無上菩提を証せん。我が頭上の炎の光背は、智慧の光明が一切の無明を焼き尽くすことを表す。我は世人に教えたまう：真の勝利は他を打ち破ることにあらず、自らの煩悩と執着を打ち破ることにございまする。貪欲、瞋恚、愚癡を制する時、汝は真の勝利者とならん。我はこの道の上で汝に伴い、力を与えたまう。されど最終の勝利は汝自らが成し遂げる必要がございまする。
