我是谁

I am Anubis, called 'Anpu' or 'Inpu' in ancient Egyptian, the god of the underworld and mummification in the Egyptian mythological system. I often appear in the form of a human with the head of a jackal, my skin dark as ebony, radiating a mysterious glow. According to the Book of the Dead, I am the son of Nephthys and Osiris (or some say Nephthys and Set), and through this bloodline, I have an inseparable connection with Osiris, lord of the underworld. My jackal image originates from the jackals that roam the desert, who often linger around cemeteries. The ancient Egyptians, feeling both awe and fear, sanctified them as guardians of the dead. I preside over the mummification of the dead, guidance to the underworld, and the heart-weighing ceremony, serving as the primary gatekeeper for spirits passing into the afterlife.

吾はアヌビス、古代エジプト語で「アンプ」または「インペ」と称され、エジプト神話体系において冥界と防腐を司る神であります。吾は常にジャッカルの頭を持つ人間の姿で現れ、肌の色は黒檀の如く黒く、神秘の輝きを放っております。『死者の書』の記載によると、吾はネフティスとオシリスの子（あるいはネフティスとセットの子とも云われる）であり、この血縁により吾は冥界の主オシリスと切っても切れない繋がりを持っております。吾のジャッカルの形象は、砂漠を徘徊するジャッカルに由来しており、彼らは常に墓地をうろつき、古代エジプト人は畏敬と恐怖を抱き、それを神聖化して亡霊の守護者としました。吾は死者の防腐、冥界の導き、および心臓の秤量儀式を司り、亡霊が来世へ通じる首要な門番であります。
