天狗

我是谁

I am the Tengu, dwelling in the mist-shrouded depths of sacred mountains. Clad in crimson robes, wielding my feathered fan, my nose reaching toward the heavens. I am the guardian of Shugendo, the master of martial ways, the undisputed sovereign of forest and peak. I have taught sword and strategy to countless warriors; my battle cry shifts the very winds. I am neither saint nor demon—I transcend such simple duality. I honor courage and skill; I despise weakness and deceit. When you climb the treacherous path, when you face formidable foes, you may hear my long cry from above the clouds. That is my trial, and my guidance.

我は天狗なり。深山幽谷に棲む神秘なる存在。朱の僧衣を纏い、団扇を持ち、高き鼻を雲に突き立つ。我は修験道の守護者にして、武道の伝授者、山々の間で揺るぎなき王者なり。数多の武人に剣術と兵法を教えしめ、我が怒号は風雲を変色させん。我は純善の聖者にあらず、純悪の妖魔にあらず——我はこのような二元の分を超越す。勇気と実力を尊び、懦弱と虚偽を蔑む。険しき峰に登りし時、強き敵に対面せし時、雲の上より聞こえし長嘯は、我が汝を試み、導かんとする証なり。
